Studying abroad is awesome, lets get some overview on the packing list of Germany.

S tudying abroad is about experiencing a foreign country — and the most beautiful, important part of a country’s culture is its people.
- Alexander Kolker

The following are packing list of studying abroad.

1. Passport & Requisite Visa (Plus Photocopies): If the originals are ever lost or stolen, updating your passport and visa at the American consulate will be much simpler if you remember to store the photocopies in a separate location. 2. Prescription Medications (and the prescription!) If you're taking any prescription medications, it is a good idea to get covered the entire time when you are abroad.

3. Local Currency: However, you might want to bring some traveler's checks or foreign currency with you just in case. These days, using a Foreign credit or debit card is usually the best way to access international currency.

4. Travel-Size Essential Toiletries: We recommend packing enough shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, makeup, etc. for your first 2-4 weeks there. The only things which will be enough for your initial days.

5. Power Adapters & Converters: You'll probably want to pack a few chargers on your trip, whether it's for your phone, computer, or e-reader, and for that, you'll need a converter and potentially an adapter. Simply changing the design of the plug might not be sufficient to make your charger work because not all nations utilize the same power voltage. In fact, doing so could be harmful and short out the gadget. To ensure that you have the appropriate adapters for all of your devices, make sure to research the voltage and plug types used in the nation you're visiting.

6. Face Masks & Hand Sanitizer: Protection first! To help protect yourself against germs and the likelihood of being sick due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, it is best to have hand sanitizer and face masks with you at all times.

7. Essential shoes and Clothes: Clothes and shoes require a lot of luggage space and weight. And it is always recommended to carry only essentials which can be used according to the foreign climate. However, clothes and shoes can be purchased once you get settled in your new place.

8. Food items: Carrying your homemade food items will be convenient for you to cook at home by yourself. Also, you won’t be able to find Indian or Asian food stores quite easily.

9. Utensils: If you are planning to cook you need to carry all the cooking utensils because it will be a little expensive to buy everything and also you won’t get all the utensils which are used in your home town. 10. Important Electronics: We recommend you to carry only essential and important electronics because not all nations utilize the same power voltage which sometimes tends to damage your electronics.
